In official documents, we use your official surname. Do you want to change this name and/or your initials? This is how it works:
Changing your form of address and/or first name
Do you want us to address you differently in our letters or Bankmails? For example with a different form of address or with a different first name? Then click the 'Change name' button below. Then click 'Change' next to 'This is how you will be addressed by us' (preferred name).
Adding a partner’s surname
Do you want to add your partner's name to your official surname? You can arrange this yourself. Click the button 'Change name' below. Then click 'Change' next to 'This is how you will be addressed by us' (preferred name). Here you'll find the option to add your partner's name.

Please note: to change a surname, we need additional proof. For example, a Royal Decree, Extract from the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP), Judicial decision or birth certificate + appendix. Make sure you have gathered this information before your appointment.
