How it works
You can open the account yourself on your mobile. Opening an account and providing proof of identity in the form of any Dutch ID or an international passport can be done entirely online. No need to visit your branch to sign any papers.
If you are a US student, please arrange an appointment via 0900 - 00 24 (normal call rates apply).

What's a Student Package?
The Student Package contains everything you need to do your banking: a bank account, debit card, Internet Banking and Banking with the ABN AMRO app.
Who is it for?
The Student Package is for students aged 16 to 30 who receive their student loan, vocational/work compensation or study allowance in their ABN AMRO Student Account (Studentenrekening). You will need a registered address in the Netherlands.

The Student Package consists of:

- access to Internet Banking and the ABN AMRO app;
