If you are unable to go on a trip you booked because you need surgery, for example, and you have cancellation insurance or cover, the cancellation costs up to the amount insured on the policy will be reimbursed. Once you have received the proof of cancellation, you can submit your cancellation claim.

Good to know

  • Cancel your trip with the agency where you already booked something. 
  • As soon as you have received proof of cancellation, you can submit your cancellation claim online. 
  • Remember to also include the original booking confirmation. 

Submit your cancellation claim online

  1. Go to your personal ABN AMRO Verzekeringen environment.
  2. You’ll now see your policies. Click ‘Claims’ at the top.
  3. Click ‘Submit new claim’ and enter the date when your cancellation was finalised. Please answer all questions.
  4. Upload the required information. 
  5. If everything is correct, click ‘Send’.
