Good to know

If you have minor water damage, such as a damp patch on the ceiling or on a wall, take clear pictures or make a video showing the damage, and then submit your claim as soon as possible. With small claims, you can do this easily online. Upload the pictures right away and add a clear description of how the fire damage occurred and how much damage there is.

Water damage is subject to a compulsory excess of €220 and perhaps you have also opted for a voluntary excess on top of that.

How to submit your claim online

  1. Go to your personal ABN AMRO Verzekeringen environment. 
  2. You’ll now see your policies. Click ‘Claims’ at the top. 
  3. Click ‘Submit new claim’ and enter the date of the loss or damage. 
  4. Please answer all questions. If everything is correct, click ‘Send’. 
  5. Please upload the required information so that we can process your claim.
