If you’ve got a chipped windscreen, it’s insured with our Third-Party Liability + Limited cover or Third-Party Liability + Comprehensive cover. You don’t need to report this damage to us, you can simply get in touch with Glasgarant directly. They’ll take care of everything for you from there. 

Good to know

  • If you have a car insurance policy with Third-Party Liability + Limited cover or Third-Party Liability + Comprehensive cover, have the damage repaired by a Glasgarant repair shop near you. 
  • If your windscreen needs to be replaced, there is an excess of €75, payable directly to the repair shop.

Claim-free years

Windscreen damage will not affect your claim-free years.
