Has one of your mobile devices been damaged? A laptop that has been knocked off the table, for example, or someone has spilt tea all over your iPad. That’s a real shame! Do you know if your device can be repaired? If you have a total loss statement for your device or know how much repairing it is going to cost, please submit your claim online.
How to submit your claim online
- Go to your personal ABN AMRO Verzekeringen environment.
- You’ll now see your policies. Click ‘Claims’ at the top.
- Click ‘Submit new claim’ and enter the date of the loss or damage.
- Please answer all questions. If everything is correct, click ‘Send’.
- Please upload the required information so that we can process your claim.
Good to know
Mobile Devices cover replaces the ABN AMRO laptop insurance. However, if you currently have a laptop insurance policy, you are still covered.
In some cases, the damage will not be covered in full. Mobile Devices cover is subject to a compulsory excess of €100 and covers the current value of your mobile devices. To find out the amount covered, see your policy terms and conditions and the depreciation list for more information.

If you have reported a new claim, you will receive a response from ABN AMRO Verzekeringen within 3 working days.
Have you already reported the damage and have additional questions? Then you will receive a response from us within 8 to 12 working days.
How do I check my claim?
You can check your claim in your personal ABN AMRO Verzekeringen environment. Here you will also see the documents added by you in relation to the claim and the messages sent about your claim.
- Go to your personal ABN AMRO Verzekeringen environment.
- At the top, select 'Claims’.
- Click the number behind 'Claim number’. Here you will see a summary of your claim and the documents added by you in relation to the claim. Under 'Documents’, you can see the documents added by you in relation to the claim. You can add additional information about your claim by clicking 'Uploaden documenten'.
- Under 'Correspondence’, you can see the communications about your claim.
What do I do if I do not have the receipts anymore?
In that case, please try to communicate certain details of the purchase to us as best you can. Such as: when did you buy the item, in which shop, what brand and type is it? Perhaps you can still find a bank statement showing the amount of the purchase.
