Pay contactless with your smartwatch

If you’ve got a Google smartwatch or an Apple Watch, visit our pages about Google Pay and Apple Pay to find out more.

Here’s how to pay with your wearable

Step 1: first buy a wearable

If you don’t yet have a wearable, buy one that you can link to your current account. Check out which wearables you can link to your current account.

Step2: link your wearable to your current account

Link your debit card to your wearable. How this works exactly depends on the type of wearable. Further down this page, you will find links to the step-by-step guides.

Step 3: start making payments

You can now make contactless payments. Unlock your device if necessary, and hold it against the payment terminal. Done!

Quick and easy payments

It’s easy to pay for your shopping with your smartwatch. It works the same as contactless payments with your debit card: just hold your wearable against the payment terminal.

And you can set your own PIN in your wearable’s app for maximum convenience.

Costs

The digital debit card is free of charge. You can link multiple wearables to your current account. Check the rates here.

Security

Paying with your wearable is just as secure as paying with your debit card. You can block your wearable at any time directly in your wearable’s app. If you’re having trouble or have also lost your phone, please get in touch with us.

Contactless payments

You can make payments up to a maximum of €2500 per day using your wearable.

Note: the limit has been increased from a maximum of €250 to €2500 per day. Did you previously have a maximum limit of €250 per day? If so, remove your digital payment card from your wearable and recreate it. This way, you can take advantage of the higher daily limit.

To pay using your wearable, you’ll need to re-enter your PIN every 24 hours or after removing the wearable from your wrist. You can set your PIN yourself in your wearable’s app. To pay, press your wearable’s activation button, select your wallet and enter your PIN.
