Transferring money, withdrawing cash and making debit card or online payments
If you intend to transfer a large sum of money, pay a large amount online or using your debit card, or withdraw a large sum of cash, check that your limit is high enough. You can change your daily transfer limit, online daily limit or card limit yourself. Read on to find out how to do this and learn about the differences between the various limits.
Choose which situation applies to you and change the right limit
Changing the daily online limit in the app
Here's how to change your daily online limit in the app
- Log in to the app.
- Tap 'Cards' in the bar at the top.
- Select the debit card for which you want to change the limit.
- Tap 'General settings'
- Tap 'Daily online limit' and choose the limit you want. The maximum is € 10,000. You can't set a limit that is higher than your account balance.
- Confirm the change using your identification code.
Your new limit will take effect immediately. No need to wait.
What counts towards your daily online limit?
Your 'Daily online limit' is the amount you can spend when purchasing items online with your debit card. All payments made using your linked debit card and when you enter your card details manually count towards this limit.

- Select the debit card for which you want to change the limit.
- Tap 'General settings'
