Managing Jongerengroeirekening settings

  • Limit for online payments
  • Approve payments
  • ABN AMRO app access

Spending and saving under your supervision

The Jongerengroeirekening lets you supervise your child’s spending and saving without actually having to keep watching over their shoulder. Permissions for your child’s account, such as whether your child is allowed to make payments online and use the iDEAL payment service, are easy to set on Internet Banking. You decide what your child can and cannot do with his or her account.

Debit card limit

The standard cash withdrawal limit is €150, and the limit for debit card payments in shops is also set to €150. If you think this total limit of €300 is too high, you can easily change the debit card limit on Internet Banking.

Receiving payment alerts

If you would like to be notified when your child has made a payment or when there has been activity on the account, simply enable payment alerts to stay up to date. Payment alerts are free of charge and can be viewed on the ABN AMRO app. A reassuring way to stay in the know.
