The Internet Banking login screen has a new look. The QR code will appear immediately and has a prominent position on the screen. You can scan this code to log in quickly and securely using the ABN AMRO app. You can still log in using the e.dentifier after clicking a new button.
The QR code appears immediately. By scanning this code with the ABN AMRO app on your phone or tablet you can log in quickly and securely. If you use the e.dentifier, you can still use this with the new login screen. Simply click the button under the QR code.
The login screen has been simplified and has a green background. Our URL also looks somewhat different: make sure the address starts with https://www.abnamro.nl/. If it does, you can log in with full peace of mind.
For the rest, Internet Banking will remain the same. You do your banking in the familiar environment as always, even when you log in using the QR code and ABN AMRO app. After logging in, you can proceed as usual, on your laptop or PC.
Each of these QR codes is unique and temporary. The code will expire within a couple of minutes; if you don’t scan it before then, you can simply request a new code. You scan this QR code in the secure environment of the ABN AMRO app. After you scan the code, by means of confirmation you will always see a message that you are logging in to Internet Banking. This way you know exactly what’s happening.
