Roadside assistance: what to do in the event of a breakdown

Report the breakdown

If your car has broken down, please call us on 026 - 400 23 45. If calling from outside the Netherlands, please call + 0031 26 400 23 45. Roadside assistance is available 24/7.

The process

A staffer will go through the details with you and make sure you receive the appropriate help as soon as possible.

Repair

If you are on the road and repair is not immediately possible, we will arrange a courtesy car for you so you can get back on the road as quickly as possible.

  • Chauffeur service if the driver is unable to drive due to illness or injury
  • A courtesy car if your car cannot be repaired immediately

What is covered and what is not

The limited and comprehensive covers include coverage for:

  • Roadside assistance for your car or hitched up RV

Add-on covers

If you would like to include additional cover options, choose an add-on such as passenger cover to ensure that you and your fellow passengers are also covered against injuries and losses sustained during an accident, for example. Or choose for other add-ons, such as legal or breakdown cover.

ABN AMRO Claims Service

You will not be required to pay an excess if your car is repaired by a body shop that we have chosen specifically for you. Only window replacement is subject to an excess of €75. There is always a body shop from the ABN AMRO network located near your place of residence. If you do not use the ABN AMRO Claims Service, you will be required to pay an excess of €150.
