What you can do on the 'Settings' tab

On the 'Settings’ tab, you can specify your preferences for the app. For example, you might want to change your identification code, reorder your accounts, or enable the fingerprint feature. We've made a list of some useful tips for you.

Do your banking with just your finger

Enable the fingerprint feature

It's just as easy to do your banking with your fingerprint as with your identification code. If you have the right kind of device and the right iOS or Android version you can enable the fingerprint feature by going to ‘Settings’ > ‘Login and transfer’ > ‘Fingerprint’ or 'Touch ID'.

Make iDEAL payments without an e.dentifier

Enable this feature

You can use the app to make payments via iDEAL without your e.dentifier, as long as the amount does not exceed your daily limit and even if you haven’t previously made a purchase from the online shop. Go to ‘Login and transfer’ > ‘Payments without e.dentifier’ > ‘All accounts’ to enable this feature.

Change your details

New address or phone number

If you have moved house or have a new telephone number or email address, you can update your details yourself, by going to ‘Settings’ > ‘Personal’ > ‘Personal details’. Please note: you will need your e.dentifier to confirm your change of address.


Reorder your accounts

Give them names

If you would like to see the total balance of all your accounts, you can easily enable or disable the total balance feature. To do so, go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Accounts’ > ‘Show total balance’. You will then be able to see the total balance of all your accounts in your account overview.

Update your address book

Add a name and photo for other accounts

When making a transfer, you can tick a box to indicate that you want to save the beneficiary account to your address book. Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Personal’ > ‘Address book’ to give your accounts a name and photo.

Choose the app language

Dutch or English

The app's default language is Dutch. If you would prefer to do your banking in English, go to ‘Settings’ > ‘App’ > ‘Language’ to change the language.

Notification settings

Keep up to date

You will receive a notification in the app if there is important news about your accounts or products. These notifications are enabled as standard on Android devices. If you have an iPhone or iPad, we will ask for your permission first. To enable or disable notifications, go to ‘App’ > ‘Notifications’ > Receive notifications’.
