Do you always use the e.dentifier to log in to Internet Banking? If so, the way you log in and approve your banking transactions will change. This change is necessary to help keep your banking secure in the future. You will be able to continue using Internet Banking on your computer just as you do now. If you have received a letter and an email from us, you can choose a new way to log in. If you have not received anything yet, you do not need to do anything at this time.

Do you always use the e.dentifier to log in to Internet Banking? If so, the way you log in and approve your banking transactions will change.
If you have received a letter and an email from us, you can choose a new way to log in. If you have not received anything yet, you do not need to do anything at this time.
I use the ABN AMRO app
Do you use the ABN AMRO app to log in to Internet Banking? If so, nothing will change for you. You can continue to log in as usual.
I am a business client
Do you use the e.dentifier as a business client? If so, you do not need to do anything at this time. You will receive a personal message from us at a later date.
If you use the ABN AMRO app, nothing will change for you. You can continue to log in as usual.
What can you expect if you always use the e.dentifier?
You will receive a personal message
Do you always use the e.dentifier when you log in to Internet Banking for your personal banking? If so, you will receive a letter and an email from us between June and December 2026. These will tell you that there is a message for you in Internet Banking.
Do you use the e.dentifier as a business client or as a client of ABN AMRO MeesPierson? If so, you will receive a personal message from us at a later date.

You will continue to manage your banking matters in Internet Banking as usual. Only the way you log in and approve transactions will change.

Once you have received the message, you can choose a new way to log in. Take your time to read the information and then make your choice.

Which way of logging in suits you best?

ABN AMRO app
You can use the ABN AMRO app to log in to Internet Banking and approve your transactions. If you use a smartphone or tablet, this is often the easiest option because you simply use your own device.
The ABN AMRO app is free of charge.
Security key
The security key is a small device that you plug into your computer. You can use the security key to log in to Internet Banking and approve your transactions. You do not need a smartphone or tablet.
You will receive the security key by post.
There is a one-off fee of €10 for the security key.
