Open your Dutch bank account

Download the ABN AMRO app and follow the on-screen instructions. Enter SETTLE in the promotional code field. Once you’ve opened the account, activate the ABN AMRO app and your new debit card.

1. Open an account, activate the app and your debit card and make 25 payments using your new card and you’ll receive the first €100. These 25 payments must together amount to at least €100 in order to qualify as payments.
2. If you open a Direct Savings account and save €150 or more within the first 3 months of opening your current account, you'll receive another €50
3. Request annual travel insurance through ABN AMRO and you’ll receive €25.

Please note: you have a total of 3 calendar months to complete these 3 steps. This period starts on the date you open your current account. To receive a gift from step 2 onwards, you must first have completed the previous steps.

How to recognise the gift on your statement

• Gift 1 - 25 payments made
• Gift 2 - Direct Savings acc
• Gift 3 - Insurances

The money will be in your account within a month of completing a step.

A few days after completing a step, you’ll also receive an email from us to let you know that you’ve earned the gift. You’ll only receive this message (and the money) if you’ve completed the step within 3 months of opening your account and if you’ve completed the previous steps.

If you forgot to enter the promotion code during the request process, you’re unfortunately not eligible for the welcome gift of up to €175.
