A natural disaster before your trip starts and you have booked through a tour operator

Have you planned a holiday and has a forest fire unexpectedly broken out or a volcano erupted? This is not covered by your travel insurance. In some cases it is possible to get money back through the Calamiteitenfonds.

A natural disaster before your self-booked trip starts or during your trip

Do you have damage to your holiday accommodation due to a natural disaster? And is a stay there or somewhere else not possible? You will be refunded the unused part of the travel sum if you have cancellation insurance. Or you will receive a refund of the paid travel sum if the trip has not yet started.
