Promotion terms and conditions

If you open a current account (Basic Payment Package) for yourself using the ABN AMRO app during the promotion period from 14 September to 31 October 2026 and use the code ABNxPablo, you’ll get a gift of up to €100. You’ll also receive 12 months’ free access to Preferred Banking. And you’ll have the chance to win a unique artwork by Pablo Lücker. The first 1,500 eligible clients who use the code ABNxPablo will receive a unique artwork as a gift.

First download the app and follow the on-screen instructions. Enter ABNxPablo in the promotion code field. Once you’ve opened the account, activate the ABN AMRO app and your digital debit card. You can start paying with your account on the same day. You’ll receive your physical debit card by post a few days later. All steps at a glance:

1. Open an account, activate the app and your (digital) debit card and make 25 payments using your new card within 3 months: you’ll receive €50 into your account.
2. Open a Direct Savings account: you’ll receive an extra €25.
3. Save at least €150 in your Direct Savings account within the first 3 months of opening your current account and you’ll receive a further €25.
4. If you’re one of the first 1,500 clients to have used the code ABNxPablo and meet the eligibility criteria, you’ll receive a unique artwork by Pablo Lücker as a gift within 8 weeks.

Please note: You have a total of 3 calendar months to complete these steps, starting on the date you open your current account. For gifts 2 and 3, you must always have made 25 payments first.

1. These promotion terms and conditions apply to the Pablo promotion organised by ABN AMRO (hereinafter referred to as ‘the promotion’).
2. This promotion has been initiated by ABN AMRO, with its head office at Gustav Mahlerlaan 10, 1082 PP Amsterdam, Netherlands.
3. The promotion runs from 14 September to 31 October 2026. 
4. The promotion is valid for the first 1,500 clients who open a current account and satisfy the applicable conditions. After that, the artworks will no longer be available.
5. All persons participating in the promotion are bound by these promotional terms and conditions. By participating, the participant confirms his or her acceptance of these promotional terms and conditions.
6. ABN AMRO reserves the right to terminate the promotion or change the promotion terms and conditions at any time without providing its reasons for doing so.
7. By participating, the participant agrees that ABN AMRO may contact them via a personal email message during the promotion period. 
8. ABN AMRO reserves the right to exclude participants from the promotion at any time if it is of the opinion that the participant has violated one or more conditions of participation, has provided incorrect or incomplete information, or has acted in any other legally impermissible manner.

By ’25 payments’, we mean 25 everyday payments made using your (digital) debit card. Credit transfers, such as transferring one cent several times, do not count. After your 25th payment, you’ll receive your first cash reward of €50.

A few days after completing a step, you’ll receive an email from us to let you know that you’ve earned the associated gift. You’ll only receive this email (and the money) if you’ve completed the step within 3 months of opening your account and if you’ve completed any previous steps as well.

• Gift 1 - 25 payments made
• Gift 2 - Direct Savings account opened
• Gift 3 - €150 or more paid into your Direct Savings account
• Gift 4 - you’re one of the first 1,500 clients to use the code ABNxPablo and have completed the other required steps

You can take part in this promotion if you:

• are aged 18 or older;
• have an official Dutch home address;
• have Dutch ID, a residence permit or passport
• don’t yet bank with ABN AMRO;
• open a current account for yourself in the ABN AMRO app (this promotion only applies to the Basic Payment Package).

• You can only take advantage of this promotion once, i.e. you can only open one new current account in your name. Joint accounts aren’t eligible for this promotion.
• ABN AMRO Bank N.V. reserves the right to amend the promotion terms and conditions or to cancel or extend the term of the promotion at any time, in which case an updated, amended version of the promotion terms and conditions will be posted on abnamro.nl.
• The promotion is an initiative of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. with registered offices in Amsterdam.
• The promotion is governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from these promotion terms and conditions and/or from the promotion will be heard in the first instance by the competent court in Amsterdam.

• If you enter incorrect personal data, you’ll be excluded from the promotion.
• ABN AMRO reserves the right to exclude participants from the promotion at any time if it is of the opinion that the participant has violated one or more conditions of participation, has provided incorrect or incomplete information, or has acted in any other legally impermissible manner.

• If you’re not happy with this promotion, please submit your complaint to us. We make every effort to deal with complaints effectively.
• These promotion terms and conditions and the promotion concerned are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from these promotion terms and conditions and/or from the promotion will be heard in the first instance by the competent court in Amsterdam.
