Beneficiary bank details
For a payment to a bank in Serbia, you need to provide a Bank Identification Code (BIC). This is also known as a SWIFT address (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication).
Beneficiary details
- An IBAN in Serbia is mandatory and consists of 22 characters. Do not use spaces, dashes, commas or slashes (/).
- Example: RS35 2600 0560 1001 6113 79 Enter the full name of the person receiving the money in the “Recipient name” field. Do not use abbreviations.
Cost
These international transfers are subject to private transfer fees and business transfer fees. If you choose for the OUR option, the beneficiary will not be charged anything by their bank. ABN AMRO charges an OUR fee (PDF, 132 KB) (PDF, 156 KB) for this.
Please note: the cost option “the recipient will pay all costs (BEN)” is not possible for payments in the local currency (RSD).

Conditions for payments to Serbia
- For a transfer in local currency (RSD) to a bank account in Serbia, you must provide a Purpose code.
- The minimum transfer amount in RSD is the equivalent of EUR 25.
- The beneficiary may be required to provide additional documentation before the funds can be credited.
