Update your mortgage and contact details

Here’s how to do it yourself

With Internet Banking, it’s very easy to update your own details when, for example, you want to receive all your mortgage correspondence digitally or need to update your email address or name.

Digital mortgage correspondence

We are gradually switching to ‘paperless’ banking, meaning that you will receive our messages increasingly digitally instead of in the post. We will also send you a notification by email to let you know that there’s a message for you. You can now switch to digital correspondence for your mortgage or other products. It will allow us to cut back on our paper use and also happens to be quicker and more secure.

What you can change and how

Your contact details : This is where you can update your email address, telephone number, and address details.
Your correspondence preferences : This is where you can set the language we use for your messages and what messages you want to receive. Click ‘Mortgage messages’ in the top-left corner and then ‘Post settings’ in the top-right corner.

Change account number

Please find below the mandate forms to change the direct debit for your mortgage or to change the standing order into your savings account.
Fill in the mandate form.
If we receive the new mandate before the first of the month, it will take effect the next month. Example: if you send us the mandate form on 17 October, we will have received it by the 1st of November. The direct debit will then come out of the new account from 1 December.
You will receive a confirmation as soon as it has been changed.
