Cancelling your loan

Here’s how to do it

You can cancel your loan at any time at no extra charge. However, you do have to pay off your loan in full before we can terminate it. Read on to find out how to do this.

How to repay in full

On Internet Banking

  1. Log in to Internet Banking and click the ‘Self service’ tab.
  2. Click your loan at the bottom of the page.
  3. Select ‘Extra or full redemption’.
  4. Select ‘Full redemption’.
  5. You can transfer the amount of the outstanding loan balance using iDEAL.

By transfer

If you don’t have Internet Banking access:

  1. Transfer the amount to repay to: NL18ABNA0839581602 in the name of ABN AMRO Kredieten B.V.
  2. Please state your contract number.
  3. The repayment will be processed within 3 working days.

Borrowing more

If you want to borrow more, you can apply for a new loan. You will then use your new loan to repay your existing loan.
“As soon as your loan has been repaid in full, it will automatically be cancelled and removed from the Dutch Credit Registration Office’s register. If the loan was repaid over 14 days ago and you don’t have an outstanding loan balance, but your loan has not been cancelled, please get in touch with us.”
