Guided Investing is right for you if you’re looking for online assistance in setting your goal, deciding how long to invest for, and assessing the risk you’re willing to take. This way you ultimately select the ABN AMRO Profile Fund that is right for you. Our experts will manage the ESG Profile Fund and make any adjustments to the fund as necessary.
Range
If you choose Guided Investing, you will invest in one of the five ABN AMRO ESG Profile Funds. Each fund has its own features and a specific risk level: defensive, moderately defensive, moderately aggressive, aggressive, or very aggressive. You should invest in a fund with the risk profile that feels right for you.

Track your investments in the app and on Internet Banking
You can see the current value of your investments at a glance. A graph shows the projected value of your investment on the basis of a pessimistic, an optimistic and a neutral prognosis. The graph also gives an estimate of the feasibility of your target amount. You will also find a lot of information about your profile fund, ranging from its current contents and the spread, to the price trend and the fund’s ESG performance. ESG stands for environmental, social and governance.
Getting started with Guided Investing
If you have opted for Self-Directed Investing Basic, we will open an investment account for you. You will find it in the ABN AMRO app and on Internet Banking, which is where you can place your first investment order. You might already have an idea about which investment products (or mix of these) you want to invest in. If not, go back to step 4 and step 5, or take a look at the Self-Directed Investing Basic range, which shows the investment funds, ETFs and shares available to you. If you’re happy with your choice, you’re ready to place your first order.

Our fund selector makes it easy to compare all the investment funds and ETFs. Select ‘Self-Directed Investing Basic’ under ‘Range’ to see what you can choose from. You can then compare funds based on the features that matter to you.
Comparing shares
You can check the details of shares in the ABN AMRO app and on Internet Banking. Go to your investment account and tap ‘Find product’ in the app or click ‘New order’ on Internet Banking. Select ‘shares’ at the top. You can now filter shares by region or industry. Tap or click the share that you are interested in. This will show price trends, a risk assessment, and regular opinions on specific shares from our analysts.
