Digital document exchange
Easy and secure in Internet Banking

Or perhaps we’ve asked you to send us some documents. You can do this quickly, easily and securely on Internet Banking. Read on to find out how.
Here's how you can exchange documents
You get a message from us
If we want to exchange documents with you, you’ll see a message on Internet Banking. Your messages are at the top right, under the bell icon. The number in the dot shows how many unread messages you have. Click the bell icon to go to your messages.
Go to your messages
Open the message entitled: ‘Direct document exchange’. Click ‘Go to the overview’ in the message.
Here's how to share documents with us
- If you’ve been asked to share documents with ABN AMRO, you’ll see an overview of the documents concerned under ‘Send documents’.
- Click ‘Browse’ under the subject to upload your documents, or drag the file to the field (using drag and drop). To share more than one document, click ‘Browse’ again or drag the other documents to the field.
- Once you’ve uploaded all the documents per subject, click ‘Send’.
- You’ll see confirmation that you’ve successfully sent your documents on the screen.
We've shared documents with you
If ABN AMRO wants to share documents with you, you’ll find them under ‘Download documents’. Click the document to open and/or download it.
Your files are in the overview
You can always find your files and shared documents in the ‘My Documents’ overview in Internet Banking. The link to the overview is on the ‘Self service’ page, under ‘Communications and appointments’ > ‘Exchange documents’.
