I’d like to become a tester

What does being a tester involve?

It’s great that you’d like to help us improve the app: thank you! As a tester, you’ll take part in the beta programme for the app, which means you’ll be trying out the latest version. This version isn’t yet available to our other customers, so you’ll also be the first to test its new functionalities. If you become a tester, we’ll ask you to share your feedback with us. So that together, we can make the ABN AMRO app even better!

What conditions do I need to meet?
  • You must be at least 18 
  • You must have a current account with ABN AMRO and use the ABN AMRO app
  • There is also a limit on the number of participants. You can only take part if the limit has not yet been reached.
What conditions do I need to meet to continue to be a tester?

You can continue to take part in the beta programme if:

  • you regularly download a new test version of the ABN AMRO app.
  • You use this test version regularly.

You can always go back to the standard version of the ABN AMRO app, which you can download and update in the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android). If in the future ABN AMRO decides to stop the beta programme, you can go back to using the standard version of the ABN AMRO app.

How do I register to take part on my iPhone or iPad?

  2. Complete your registration

    Please confirm your registration for the beta programme here . Then start testing the app.

  3. Use the latest version

    Always download the latest beta version of the app.

  4. Test the app and give your feedback

    If you notice anything odd or something isn’t working, simply share a screenshot with us via the TestFlight app.

How do I register to take part on my Android device?

  1. Download the beta version of the app

    Tap the button below:

     

  2. Tap Take part

    This gives you access to the beta version of the ABN AMRO app.

  3. Use the latest version

    Make sure you always download the latest beta version onto your mobile.

  4. Test the app and give your feedback

    You can now use the beta version of the ABN AMRO app. Send us your feedback via the Play Store.

How to send feedback and user assistance

How do I send feedback (iOS)?

Share your feedback via the TestFlight app. In TestFlight, go to the ABN AMRO app. Tap on 'Send beta feedback'. You can also add a screenshot if you wish.

Remember to strike through your personal and bank details before sharing a screenshot with us. You can do this by using the Apple iOS edit tools in your camera roll. If you nevertheless accidentally send your personal or bank details with your screenshot, we will delete them.

Your feedback will always be read by the team that's developing the app, but you won't receive a return message.

How do I send feedback (Android)?

Send us your feedback via the Play Store app. Open the app and search for ‘ABN AMRO’. This will give you the option to send us your feedback. It will look as though you are posting a review, but it will only be visible to us. Please don’t include any personal or bank details.

Your feedback will always be read by the team that's developing the app, but you won't receive a return message.

What should I do if the app stops working (iOS)?

Go to the App Store on your iPhone or iPad. Search for the ABN AMRO app and either update it or download it. This will give you the version that’s available to all our customers.

What should I do if the app stops working (Android)?

Go to the Play Store on your Android device. Search for the ABN AMRO app and select ‘Leave the beta programme’. Then download the app version that’s available to all our customers.
