Useful tips for changing your address details:

  • Check both addresses

Do you see two different addresses under ‘address’ and ‘postal address’? Then please check both.

  • Do you see ‘Postbus 754, 9700 AT Groningen’ under the postal address?

If your mail is returned to us, we automatically insert ‘Postbus 754’ as postal address. Please replace this with your correct postal address.

  • Questions?

Please contact us. We're happy to help.

Why is it important to change my address?

Your financial security is very important. Having the correct address is part of this. If you add your correct address, we can deliver your confidential mail to the right place. Like for example a new debit card.

We are also required by law to accurately record your details. This is stated in The Dutch Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Prevention) Act.

Why does ABN AMRO need my address details?

We need your address to deliver confidential and important mail. We mostly communicate digitally. But sometimes this is not possible. For instance if you need a new debit card. Also, some communication is so important that we send you a letter.
