May 26th - ‘Buying a house in The Netherlands’ The Hague edition

Are you eligible? If you have lived in the Netherlands for 6 months or longer and have a permanent job, you may be eligible to buy a house in the Netherlands. There are a lot of rules and regulations. During the event we will explain things such as residency, contracts and salary. We will also take you through the process of buying a house in the Netherlands.

  • 10 June - Eindhoven


    Learning Dutch, finding a house, experiencing Dutch culture, making connections, solving immigration and tax issues…everything is possible at the “I am not a tourist” Expat Fair in the Brainport Eindhoven region, Southeast Netherlands, Sunday June 10th 2018. ABN AMRO will be present and will give a seminar on buying a house in the Netherlands and a seminar on Investing in the Netherlands.


    For those not familiar with the event, the "I am not a tourist" Expat Fair is the biggest expat-oriented event in The Netherlands. The "I am not a tourist" Expat Fair in Eindhoven is a prime opportunity for the expat community in the South of the Netherlands to learn more about life in the 'low lands'. The historical VDMA area in the city center of Eindhoven, brings 50 exhibitors and more than 1,500 internationals together for information, orientation and business networking. Those who are new to the Netherlands, and in particular the Brainport Eindhoven Region, will benefit from an introduction to Housing, Employment, Banking, Insurance, Tax, Education and Entrepeneurship services and opportunities on offer to internationals. Alongside this there will be an entertaining program of performances and workshops throughout the day.

  • 22 September - Eindhoven

There are a lot of rules and regulations. During our free event Saturday September 22nd, we will give you all the information you need about living and buying a house in the Eindhoven area.

    ABN AMRO Bank International Clients Retail will be present along with 2 real estate agents, AB makelaars & Janssen Steijlen Makelaars, and a notary: Notariskantoor Broekmans, present to inform you about buying a house in the Netherlands and will also answer any questions you may have. Further the Holland Expat Center South will also be present.

    What could be interesting places for you to live in the area? A guided bus tour by real estate agents will take you to some neighborhoods in the Eindhoven area. During the tour, real estate agents 'Janssen Steijlen Makelaars' and 'AB Makelaars' will provide you with general information and things that are nice to know about the Eindhoven-Meerhoven area

ABN AMRO will be present and will give a seminar on buying a house in the Netherlands.

    For those not familiar with the event, the “i am not a tourist” Expat Fair is the biggest expat-oriented event in the Netherlands. The “I am not a tourist” Expat Fair Amsterdam is a prime opportunity for the expat community to learn more about life in the Netherlands. The event brings 125 exhibitors and more than 3000 internationals together for information, orientation and business networking. Those who are new to the Netherlands will benefit from an introduction to Housing, Employment, Banking, Insurance, Tax, Education and Entrepreneurship services and opportunities on offer to internationals. The IamExpat Fair is an international one-day event designed to connect and support the expat community in the Netherlands.
