🎧 How to Play
Start of the game
- The oldest player starts as the DJ.
- The DJ does not guess during this round.
- The DJ scans a QR code with their phone.
- The DJ makes sure no one can see their screen.
Music on, start guessing!
- As soon as the music starts, all other players may try to guess the song.
- Think you know it? Raise your hand.
- The DJ decides who was fastest — that player answers first.
Scoring
- 🎤 1 point for the correct artist
- 🎶 1 point for the correct song title
- 🌟 Both correct? You earn 3 points total
Order of guessing
- If the first player answers incorrectly, the player who raised their hand second may guess.
- If that answer is also wrong, the next player may try — until no one wants to guess anymore.
New DJ
- The player who gives the first correct answer becomes the DJ for the next round.
- If no one guesses the song, the same DJ stays on and scans a new QR code.
🏆How do you win?
The first player to score more than 10 points wins the game!
🎼 Extra rules for true music experts
For an extra challenge, players can also guess the release year of the song. Scoring then works as follows:
- 1 point for the correct artist
- 1 point for the correct song title
- 1 bonus point if both artist and title are correct
- 1 point if your guess is within 2 years of the correct year
- 2 points if the exact year is correct
A maximum of 5 points per song can be earned. The winner is the first player to reach 25 points.
