Privélimiet Plus no longer available

From 16 November 2020 onwards, you will no longer be able to apply for Privélimiet Plus. If you want to be able to use the overdraft facility on your current account, apply for the Rood Staan overdraft facility. You can do so online through Internet Banking or the ABN AMRO (Mobile Banking) app.
Why don't we offer Privélimiet Plus anymore?
We are noticing less and less demand for the Privélimiet Plus. In addition, we would like our clients to see the overdraft facility as a temporary solution. For our other product, Rood Staan, we ask you to have a positive balance on one working day every three months. That way, you won't be using the overdraft facility for any longer than necessary.
Features of the Rood Staan overdraft facility
- Your income must be credited to the current account on which you want to use the overdraft facility
- Your balance is positive for at least one working day every three months
- Online applications (in Dutch): you do not usually need to provide documents
- Rood Staan from €500 to €5,000 but never more than your net income
Do you have a Privélimiet Plus?
If so, you will receive a personal letter from us informing you about your options. You can cancel or lower your Privélimiet Plus online.
