How to open a business account
Request and due diligence
Request a business account online in 5 minutes. We will then check your details. We may ask you (by phone) for more information for our customer due diligence.
Electronic signature
You will be identified and complete your application online securely by digitally signing your contract.
Using the account
After we approve the signature, we will send you everything for your account such as a business debit card.
Frequently asked questions
What do I need to open a business account?
- Valid ID
- Your company’s CoC registration number (KVK number)
You use the ABN AMRO app for identification and verification. We will also ask several questions during the account opening process about the purpose and use of the account.
Is a business account compulsory?
As with many other banks, an ABN AMRO personal current account cannot be used for business purposes. This is specified in our terms and conditions.
Can I request an extra product, such as a debit card, with the packages?
It is not possible to request an additional debit card or account with the Slim and Ambitieus packages. You should therefore choose whichever of the three packages is right for your company.
Can I switch packages?
Yes, you can switch packages any moment. Simply go to the ‘Self-service’ page on Internet Banking Business.
