Standard Bank Confirmation

From now on requested by your accountant

Do you have the financial statement verified by your external auditor? In that case, a Standard Bank Confirmation is needed. This confirmation provides an overview of your accounts and credit facilities with ABN AMRO and who is authorised to act on behalf of the company. From 1 September 2025, your accountant will be able to request this statement directly from the bank. Your accountant will use Confirmation for this purpose.

Request by your accountant

  1. Your accountant logs in to Confirmation.
  2. As a client, you will receive an email from your accountant, allowing you to give digital consent for the request. After processing, you will receive a copy of the Standard Bank Confirmation. As an accountant, you will receive the standard bank confirmation digitally via Confirmation.
