Google Pay allows you to pay easily and quickly with your digital debit card. You can pair this with your Android phone or smartwatch. This way you pay almost everywhere contactless, efficiently and safely!

When can I use Google Pay?

Do you own or have permission to use an ABN AMRO business checking account? Then you can use Google Pay. Right now, Google Pay is not available for employees or bookkeepers with a card. Remember, you must be at least 16 years old and use your own Google account. This age limit is set by Google.

What devices do I use Google Pay on?

You use Google Pay on Android phones and tablets running Android 10 or higher. Google Pay also works on your smartwatches with Wear OS2 or higher. For payments, your device must support NFC (Near Field Communication). Check your settings to see if NFC is enabled. 

What do I need to activate Google Pay?

  • You have an ABN AMRO Business payment account
  • You have the latest version of the ABN AMRO app
  • You have an Android device (view all system requirements)
  • Your device has been updated to the latest version of Android
  • You are logged in with your Google account
  • The correct cell phone number is registered with ABN AMRO
  • You are connected to the internet
