- AA SIF invested in Envision, a Delft University of Technology spin-off, to support the company in their cause to help blind and visually impaired people gain independence by enhancing the connection with the world around them.
- Envision’s award-winning AI software is available on smartphones and smart glasses and can recognize and provide audio descriptions of written texts, objects, people, and other scenery thereby making everyday life more accessible.
- The investment by AA SIF, and co-investors 4impact, Impact Ventures and Operator Exchange, will be used for team expansion and to address the 300+ million people worldwide with profound vision impairment.
