She joined the Corporate Finance department of ABN AMRO in 2004, advising clients on a wide variety of acquisitions, mergers, and divestments. In 2011, she moved to the Mergers & Acquisitions team of KPN as Senior Manager and became Head of M&A in 2014. In this role, she developed and executed a proactive M&A strategy, acquiring over 25 companies and divesting non-core parts of KPN with her team. Since 2021, Tanja has been active in the venture capital space as a partner at Slingshot Ventures, an Amsterdam-based firm focused on early-stage investments in digital consumer life.
Tanja holds an MBA from Nyenrode Business University and an MSc in Econometrics from the University of Amsterdam. She is passionate about working with impact-driven entrepreneurs and with her team at the Sustainable Impact Fund. She is dedicated to accelerating the energy transition, decarbonization of the built environment, and sustainable consumer value chains by supporting innovation in low-carbon technologies.
