Test your SEPA and non-SEPA files
Quickly and easily via Swift MyStandards

Use the correct ISO XML file format for this purpose. You can read below how to ensure the delivery of these files goes smoothly.
Automatic checks
You create your own files according to the format description for SEPA files and non-SEPA files. When you submit the files to us, we automatically check whether they are technically correct and whether we can process them. You can also easily check your files yourself in advance by testing them via Swift MyStandards.
Points of attention
If you upload SEPA and non-SEPA files via Access Online Renewed instead of Access Online Classic, please note some differences. In Access Online Renewed, the automatic check of SEPA files is more in line with the SEPA rules. For non-SEPA files, we follow the CGI-MP standard. Read more about it in the overview of the most common differences. (PDF, 770 KB)
From 1 September 2026, this will also apply to SEPA and non-SEPA files that you submit via one of the Bulk Channels.

New rules for address details
From 15 November 2026, new rules for the provision of address details will apply to both SEPA and non-SEPA files. You may then only provide structured address details. From then on, a file with unstructured address details will be rejected and will therefore not be processed.
Adding address details in SEPA files with credit transfer or direct debit batches is usually not necessary. So you can also choose to remove the address details there. View the new rules in the overview of the most common differences (PDF, 770 KB) .
