Does a company or institution ask you to provide a Bank Reference Letter? Then you can request it here. The letter confirms that you have an account with us. We only provide the letter for your payment account and, if applied, 1 savings account. If you have several savings accounts, we will use the savings account with the highest balance.

You can request a Bank Reference Letter if you are a client with us. The legal guardian may request a letter for minor clients. You will receive the Bank Reference Letter within 1 to 3 business days.
Please note: this Bank Reference Letter is not intended for commercial clients. Commercial clients can request a Bank Reference Letter for business clients.
Information in the letter
The letter includes the following details:
- Name of the account holder(s) with initials or first names
- IBAN account number(s)
- With or without account balance
- Official signing from ABN AMRO, worldwide accepted (please note that we cannot provide a 'wet' signature or stamp)
- The BIC (SWIFT) from ABN AMRO
