Set your payments profile

Activate or deactivate foreign transfers yourself

You can change the settings for foreign transfers. The option to do foreign transfers is deactivated by default. This way, your current account is better protected. You can activate the option to do foreign transfers yourself via the payments profile for foreign transfers (Betaalprofiel). You can find the payments profile for foreign transfers (Betaalprofiel) in Internet Banking.

Step 1

Set up or change your payment profile for foreign transfers
  • Log into Internet Banking

    Go to Manage

    Go to 'payment profile' International transfer settings

Step 2

Select the account(s)
  • Set per account if foreign transfers are allowed.

  • We recommend to only activate foreign transfers for the current account from which you wish to make a transfer to abroad.

Step 3

Set the period
  • We recommend to only activate foreign transfers for the period you require this facility. You can choose from the following options:

  • Deactivate

  • Allow foreign transfers for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 1 year. Foreign transfers will automatically be deactivated after the selected period.

  • Allow foreign transfers always. We only advise this setting if you often do foreign transfers.

Step 4

Confirm your change
  • Save your settings by clicking 'OK & Send'.

  • Confirm your change with the e.dentifier.

  • If you wish to activate, the change will be processed after 2 hours, for reasons relating to security.

  • If you wish to deactivate the facility, the change will take immediate effect.
