Transferring money worldwide

Transferring money

You can transfer money to another account anywhere in the world. If the money is needed urgently, you can make an 'urgent transfer'. For recurring transfers, you can set up a standing order for a fixed or variable amount. You can also transfer money to a foreign country in a foreign currency.

Standing order - fixed or variable amount

Do you pay the same amount every month, for example, to your energy provider or for your mortgage? Why not set up a standing order and make the payments automatically?  You can set up a standing order for a fixed amount if you pay the same amount to the same beneficiary on a fixed date, or for a variable amount if you want to transfer the balance in your account at the end of the month to another account, for example, your savings account.

Urgent transfer

Urgent transfers can be made online or at one of our branches. A domestic transfer in euro that is made during business hours is in the beneficiary's account within 1.5 hours. If you go to one of our branches to make an urgent transfer, you must present a valid ID.

If an ordinary credit transfer can be credited to the recipient’s account within a few seconds, it is not necessary to make an urgent payment. In Internet Banking, we check this for you automatically.

Transferring money with IBAN

You need the beneficiary's IBAN in order to transfer money in euro to a SEPA country.

Transferring money to a foreign country

You can also transfer money in euro or a foreign currency to countries outside the SEPA area in the way that is easiest for you: online, at a branch, or by filling out a form.
