Internet Banking and Mobile Banking limits

Transferring funds using your identification code or e.dentifier

The maximum amount you can transfer on Internet Banking or in the Mobile Banking app depends on whether you confirm your payments using your identification code or your e.dentifier. The Mobile Banking app also lets you transfer funds using your fingerprint. The same goes for all banking affairs that you would normally manage using your identification code. If you transfer funds using your identification code or fingerprint if you have enabled the fingerprint feature, the amount must not exceed your daily limit. You can change the daily limit yourself. The table summarises the limits for transfers using Internet Banking and Mobile Banking.

The daily limit explained

The daily limit is the maximum amount you can transfer on a given day using your identification code or using your fingerprint in the app if you have enabled the fingerprint feature.

  • For Internet Banking, this applies to transfers to third-party accounts to which you have previously transferred funds in the last 18 months.

  • For Mobile Banking, this applies to transfers to all third-party accounts and online shops which offer the iDEAL payment service, if you have enabled the 'Transfer without e.dentifier' option. You will always need to confirm your payments using the e.dentifier if you have specified that you do not want to transfer funds without it.

You set your daily limit yourself, up to a maximum of €5,000. If your daily limit is €0, You will only be able to use the identification code for transfers between your personal and/or joint accounts or your fingerprint in the app if you have enabled this feature. You will then need to use the e.dentifier for all transfers to third parties.
