He joined the Sustainable Impact Fund in 2026 and has 15+ years of experience in developing, financing and investing in energy infrastructure with prior roles at Macquarie Capital and CVC DIF. In his most recent role, he was responsible for project development and strategic finance at BlueAlp, a leading chemical recycling scale-up.
He has a keen interest in accelerating the energy transition by backing early-stage companies and loves working at the intersection of finance and technology. Romain holds an MSc in Financial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
