Before taking out a car insurance policy
Please have the following details to hand:
- car check code (last 4 digits of the chassis number, see your vehicle registration certificate)
- details of current insurer: policy number, number of years without any claims, date insurance expires
- current mileage.
Once your application has been accepted, you will receive a confirmation at your home address within three working days. The insurance policy will then be sent to you automatically.
