You always receive the basic interest rate.

You will receive this bonus rate on top of the basic rate:
- in the quarter in which you open the account

After that, you will receive the bonus rate if:

- your funds remain in the savings account until the end of a quarter.

No interest is paid on funds over € 1.000.000,-.

The interest rates for Direct Kwartaal Sparen are not fixed and the bank may change them at any time.

You receive interest every quarter, but the stated interest rates are effective on an annual basis as you receive interest every quarter. This means that you will receive the aforementioned interest rate if you leave your funds with the added interest in the savings account for a year and the interest rate does not change in the meantime. You will receive 'cumulative interest' and this will result in the aforementioned interest rates.

A Quarter at ABN AMRO starts:

• from 31 December up to and including 30 March
• from 31 March up to and including 29 June
• from 30 June up to and including 29 September and
• from 30 September up to and including 30 December.

You always receive the basic interest rate.

Interest is credited to your account on 31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December. You will receive interest on credited interest from these dates. Credited interest will only appear on your account statement on the fifth working day of the next quarter.

Direct Kwartaal Sparen is a savings account for private individuals.
