Which mobile phones can use the app?

Mobile Banking for Android has been developed for smartphones running Android version 1.5 and later. While the app works well on various tablets running Android we do not yet support this type of device.
The app for iPhone/iPad is also currently available, with the BlackBerry app due for release this autumn.

Who can use Mobile Banking?

Mobile Banking is available to personal customers and YourBusiness Banking customers (self-employed, start-ups and businesses with a turnover of up to €1 million). ABN AMRO anticipates that Mobile Banking will be available to all its business customers by mid-2012.

Mobile Banking for Android update

Now available at the Android Market: an ABN AMRO Mobiel Bankieren update. There is now an English-language version of Mobiel Bankieren for Android users. The Mobiel Bankieren app is now also available for tablet PCs. These improvements make ABN AMRO Mobiel Bankieren even more user-friendly.

How does Mobile Banking work?

To find out more about how the Mobile Banking app works, choose a topic from the following list.

Note: re-register

Mobile Banking is an update of ABN AMRO Saldo. You will need to re-register using your e.dentifier because of, for example, the introduction of the 5-digit identification code. Once a new identification code has been created, you will be free to re-create your profile.

When will you still need to use an e.dentifier?

When making transfers using Mobiel Bankieren you may be asked to confirm your payment with the e.dentifier. That will be the case when:

  • the amount you want to pay exceeds the daily limit you specified
  • the daily limit you specified has been used in full
  • making a payment to an account to which you have not made a payment in the last 18 months.
