The Global Health University insurance
The Global Health University insurance policy is a health insurance for foreign students at universities and/or colleges of higher education.
Specifications
| Intended for | Students coming to the Netherlands from abroad who cannot take out Dutch national health insurance Students from 16 to 29 inclusive can benefit from an especially favourable rate. Normal premiums are charged for students older than 30. During the term of the insurance, if an age limit is exceeded, the higher premium will be charged as of the first premium due date thereafter. Family members travelling with the student are not eligible for this insurance.

| Insured | The Global Health University insurance provides very complete coverage. The coverage summary, which can also be downloaded from this site, includes more information. Because this is a group insurance, a health declaration does not need to be completed. This means that we accept the student, including any existing conditions and complaints. |
| Duration of insurance | The Global Health University insurance applies for an indefinite period. The health insurance is no longer valid after final return to the country of origin and also ends when a Dutch National Health Insurance becomes obligatory. The student must inform the insurer.

| Region of Coverage | This insurance covers you in the Netherlands for the most common health costs. In the event of an interim stay outside the Netherlands, such as a holiday or family visit, coverage applies for a maximum of 50 days. On finally returning to the country of origin, the insured person must be deregistered.
