| Daily limit | Your Debit Card has a daily limit, i.e. a maximum amount that you can withdraw in one day. You can change this daily limit any time you like in consultation with ABN AMRO. ABN AMRO suggests the following amounts:
The amount of cash you can withdraw each day from an ATM abroad also depends on the country and the bank in question. The local bank can only reduce your limit, not increase it. |
| Changing your limit | At present most cards still have an ATM limit of € 1,000. We have found that for most clients an ATM limit of € 500 is sufficient, so on new cards the limit has been set at € 500. Even if you already have a World Pass, you may choose to have this lower limit, which is an easy way of reducing the risk in the event of your card being misused. To change your limit or if you have any questions, please drop by at one of our branches or call the the Advies en Service Center on 0900 - 00 24 (€ 0.10 per minute).
