Would you like to make payments or withdraw cash at home and abroad? Take your Debit Card with you wherever you go. In the Netherlands you can use your Debit Card to make payments or withdraw cash wherever you want.
Using your Debit Card abroad
When you’re abroad you can make payments or withdraw cash wherever you see the Maestro- and Cirruslogo. Mastercard provides a useful overview of worldwide ATMs. Before you set off, make sure that you are familiar with the local practices: in some countries, such as France, Spain and Italy, for example, you will be asked for your signature instead of entering your PIN code.

Quick and easy
Every Debit Card has an electronic "Chipknip": an embedded digital chip that you 'load' with money directly from your bank account and can then use as an electronic wallet. The Chipknip is ideal if you want to pay small amounts quickly and exactly, without having to carry around lots of change. You can use the Chipknip on your World Pass to buy small items or, for example, to pay parking meters. You can top up your Chipknip at the special top-up points available on most ATMs in the Netherlands.
