Credit cards

Credit Card: Standard € 2,500 a month (can be increased)
Gold Card: Standard € 5,000 a month (can be increased)

€ 1,150. For the Gold Card the minimum is € 1,250 a month. 

You are not liable in the event of theft or loss, provided you report it immediately. See also:

In the event of theft or loss: in the Netherlands: 020 - 660 06 11 (local rate), from outside the Netherlands: +31 20 660 06 11. 

In the event of the loss or theft of your card abroad, you will receive a replacement card within 48 hours in most cases. € 129 will be charged.

Purchase insurance
Almost all purchases (including purchases on the Internet) are insured free of charge against loss, theft and damage for 180 days, or even one year (Gold Card). 

Flight delay insurance
In the event of a scheduled flight being delayed by more than 4 hours, when you have paid for your trip with your credit card, you will receive compensation for the necessary expenses for eating and drinking up to a maximum of € 140 for you or your party. 

Baggage delay insurance
In the event of baggage on a scheduled flight being delayed by more than 4 hours / 48 hours or longer, when you have paid for your trip with your credit card, you will receive compensation for the necessary items of clothing and toiletries up to a maximum of € 140 / € 410 for you or your party.  

Motoring legal assistance insurance
(Gold Card) If you pay for a hire car with your Gold Card, the costs of legal assistance in the event of an accident are insured up to a maximum of € 5,000. For Europe and countries around the Mediterranean there is no limit.

Excess cover
(Gold Card) If you pay for a rental car using your Gold Card, the excess in the event of having an accident will be covered automatically, subject to a maximum of € 500,00 per incident.
