Making payments with your credit card and PIN

Most credit cards nowadays have a chip and PIN. You will need to use the PIN more and more often to make payments with your credit card, instead of giving your signature. This applies both in the Netherlands and abroad.

Loss or theft of your credit card

In the event of your credit card being lost or stolen, you can report this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ICS by calling:

  • In the Netherlands: 020 - 6 600 611 (local rate) 
  • In other countries: +31 20 6 600 611.   

Your credit card will be blocked immediately. You should also report the matter to the police. For further information, please read the General Terms & Conditions of your  ABN AMRO Credit Card or ABN AMRO Gold Card.

If you need money urgently, we can send a transfer to a bank near you, where you will be able to collect the cash. To make use of this service, please call our loss and theft department.
